Is it a tea strainer? I can't think why you would want to stack tea cups and saucers then top them off with a mesh cover?

not my style, whatever is it's purpose? I drink my tea from a nice big ceramic mug.

it's a bell cover...and why it is used this way is silly IMO. I googled the logo words in the picture and went to some blog page where it was set up for a tea party.
No need to explain: your friends don't require it and your enemies won't believe you anyway.

Right click on the spot where the pic is supposed to be. Then click on "view image" and voila, it appears.
Looks like a counter ornament to keep your tea cups. Unless you used them every day, they'd get dusty I would think. But if you're having a tea party, it's a cutesy way to dress up the table.

don't you think it odd that all we see is a blank place. If you hadn't told me the trick I would have never seen it!
Interesting ornament but I'm not sure I'd use it for teacups! Cute...

Some can see it and others can't. Someone on the forum (and I apologize for I can't think of who it was at the moment) gave me that tip about clicking on the "picture".
If I had something like that on my table, I think I'd put a plant under it, not tea cups. It would be pretty with a flower/vine arrangement under it, don't you think?

at this mesh cage and the tea cups, I think this is a lovely display for your table. I guess I am the only one LOL but when I first saw it I thought it was quite pretty. Sort of Shabby Chic in style.
Yup that is my cup of tea!

Great link! I started to look around and found this and the beautiful picture of those cookies is driving me nuts! I could almost mix up a bowl of that frosting and eat it right out of the bowl!
