I have a family member who is really into it and is trying to sell it to everyone he/she knows. Says they have lost lots of weight and inches and feel so much better and look younger.

I think is akin to a pyramind scheme and even a bit on the cultish side.

Any thoughts.

I have no knowledge of the product but I steer clear of individuals who want to share their good news/results with me.   It usually ends costing me time and money.    The only way to lose weight is through healthy eating, portion control  and moving the body.

I think you are proabably right.

A young freind of ours is big into Monavie and it seems like a scam too, we had to tell her flat out that we weren"t interested in learning about it.

It's a worry though to think of her getting sucked into the hype about it, it's like a new way of life.

who is taking it and she lost a lot of weight and even told me she is totally off her blood pressure meds

she also was quite a drinker stopped all of that
I am not sure if she smoked but wow she looks so much better now and she is in her mid 60s

I don't know her very well but she really went through a complete transformation

also when I hear about things like this I am always wary they might try to sell me something so when I see her I just say oh wow you look great but do not ask too much about the product

an update
I just saw her again and she told me she is taking it for the rest of her life
and I have to admit she looks amazing like a totally different woman
and she even did the edgewalk on the CN Tower

Is the best way to go for health and well being. It's got all we need to survive.

For the Monavie thing, some I know was thinking about it. EEK! So I worked back the cost  - a $40 bottle actually cost about $5. The rest of it was making others in the chain money with their cuts coming out of the $40.
