Pet Hummingbird  Actions...

This guy found a baby hummingbird after it was attacked and he nursed it back to health until it decided to stay and be his pet. Very charming video and be sure to have your sound on. The song in the background is almost as good as the video itself.

That is adorable.  They are fascinating little creatures.  I really enjoy watching my hummers.  They are scrapping over the feeders now, in preparation for their long trip south.  I don't know that I'd want a baby as an indoor pet though, they eat constantly and it would be a full time job.

It is obvious that he really loves the little bird, but he is going to have to get it to integrate with other hummers so that it migrates in the fall. Unless, of course, he lives in the south where the other birds migrate to. I wonder if the little bird would come "home" in the spring.
